80400 - Fence Enhancement Brackets

No instructions provided. At first I thought I needed them because there was no way these supports would do anything if the fence was not set fully out of the way, exposing all 8 inches of the cutter head. Well, didn't need instructions and the support is worthless if you want to joint safely by only exposing what you need for a given operation. I don’t typically joint a full 8 inch face, so these do not help keep the fence square or stop the fence from flexing. I guess it’s nice for those 8 inch boards. NOTE that you must open up the dust port side casing to install one set of nuts and flip the entire machine over to install the other set. Recommend removing the cutting guard and the fence assembly before inverting the jointer.

Useless as no instructions included. Maybe cute he will provide but until then just some extra junk hardware.
