This machine reduces time spent on the table saw trying to get a straight edge. My cutting boards are incredibly flat, glue up is a breeze.

This planer is excellent, not very noisy. The lowering/raising handle works well, inserts are sharp, long lasting.

This is my first jointer so it is what it is but so far I love this thing.. i got the cast iron fence as well but after looking at the one that comeswith it with and the supports for it i believe i would have been perfectly happy with it but dont get me wrong the cast iron is sweet.. one thing i think would be a good idea is to have some plates that would fit in the slide out table extensions.. but one can make such things i guess..anyway it is super powerful dust suction works great and the knives are a very nice touch unlike my planer with the long knives this one has the right idea.. buy one you will be glad you did..

This planer is well made, easy to set up and functions well. It produces intermittent snipe, but with some adjustment I expect to minimize it. The customer service was absolutely spectacular, and gives me a lot of confidence that if I need help in the future that it will work smoothly. Highly recommended!

I went from a 1950s 6 inch delta jointer with straight knives. Now I know what it’s like to be in heaven. This 12 inch spiral head jointer from Cutech is a machine above machines. It does way more than I anticipated.

My old Rigid 13" planner with the new Cutech Rollers and Spiral Cutting Head works fantastic!
Now my planner cuts quietly and gives a very smooth finish without any snipe. (so far with soft wood)
It works better than new!
The spiral cutter's helical engagement to the wood vs the old straight edged blades hammering chop, produces a nice stable cutting sound. As an old machinist, I instantly recognized this superior "sound of the cut".
Plus, the Carbide inserts will stay sharp at least ten times longer than High Speed Steel blades.
My experience with Cutech support was so refreshing.
Cutech was very responsive when I first received a damaged (from shipping) spiral cutting head.
I received a new spiral cutting head within a week.
Also, the install instructions were accurate and clear.

It did take a little bit (10-15 minutes) to set up to precisely square. I would have preferred a written manual to follow step-by-step (no computer in the shop, garage, to follow a video) and this is the first jointer I have ever owned-not the first one I've used. After watching the video I made the assumption that the screws from the aluminum fence would work, but did not KNOW they would-they did. After jointing a dozen or so boards I can say without hesitation they are spot on square.... wondering if I can somehow use the aluminum fence that came with the jointer as a fence for my band saw. I seriously doubt I will ever joint anything other than 90 degrees. I would purchase it again and I would recommend it to a friend-I'm not a fan of aluminum fences. I would say to be VERY finicky on the fence stabilizers-if you do that then you are golden.

I jointed some reclaimed wood and it did a darn fine job. Much much less noisy than my planer with straight knives (need to fork over the cash for helical head:). Dust collection was spectacular but decent enough... I tend to be conservative with my tools so I was making multiple shallow passes and it did a fantastic job. I'm retired so I can afford to take the extra time. In the next few days I'll be jointing some rather janky oak but I do believe that taking shallow passes everything will turn out just as expected.

I received my packages and everything I ordered was in the package, correct and undamaged. You would think that’s how it should happen all the time no matter who you order from, but take it from a guy who orders online quite a bit, I’ll take a guess and say probably 50% of the things I order have an issue of some sort. By that reasoning, one of the two packages should have contained a problem, but it did not. Thank you to the moon and back for that!
I successfully installed the new cutter head in my Rigid TP1200 thickness planer. Once complete, I immediately ran a board through it to see how it would do. I fully expected to see some lines where each of the cutter inserts are located, especially given I put some soft wood through it on purpose to exaggerate those lines. Much to my surprise, there were no lines at all. And I mean absolutely none! After four passes the board was flat and smooth as a baby’s butt. I am very impressed with the quality and workmanship that went into designing and manufacturing this cutter head. I will say I have pretty high standards and I’m hard to impress, but you all have knocked this one out of the park. I’m still amazed that there are absolutely no lines.
Tonight, I ran several more boards through the planer for a project I am just starting. It was a mixture of some soft wood and some oak. The result tonight was the same as before. Everything came out without any lines. I know in theory how that happens, but I just can’t believe you all were actually able to make that happen in real life. Again, I’m very impressed with how well this new cutter head performs. It speaks volumes about your commitment to quality. For a guy like me, that’s a very big deal.
Without turning this into a huge email going on and on about how awesome this cutter head is, I’ll wrap it up by saying,I’ll be shopping for more Cutech products in the future. Rest assured when it’s time to buy a new power tool, I’ll start at the Cutech website to see if you all have what I need before I go any where else. Thank you again for making such an excellent product and selling it at an affordable price. I’m definitely on team Cutech after this.

This is my second cutech planer, as I just handed off my first one to my father in law because he liked it so much. I Also have a 6" jointer and an 8". Cutech products are solid and affordable. The spiral cutter head is a game changer.

It fit my delta 22-560!!!! Totally worked. The diameter of the roller is a little bit larger but it worked because it is spring loaded. It was like 1mm larger on the diameter. I probably could have turned it down to the right diameter but it works!

I have two machines and I’ve had them for about five years. I have the planer and the joiner and they work flawlessly. I’ve had no problem in five years. The customer service is excellent. I would recommend any of their products to anybody.

I have been so happy with my cutech 8 inch jointer and i wished it had a flat cast iron fence, the grooved aluminum one is hard to clean and oil. And lo and behold, Cutech has done it. I just put it on today and it's easy to swap with the existing fence, I love the added height and length and it's rock solid in place. Thank You Cutech :)

I recently upgraded by Delta with this upgrade kit. It was relatively easy to do. This upgrade makes jointing clean and smooth. It also quiets down the machine. The chips it produces are much smaller and my vacuum sucks up most all of dust without clogging. Thanks, Cutech for putting this together.
